Linda Wayman has been a senior executive and leader in both the private and government sectors and brings that deep and diverse strategic and operational experience to her clients by providing the full spectrum of business strategy. Her expertise includes strategic planning; business development; brand building and marketing; community and government relations; strategic communications; event management and planning; and stakeholder engagement.

Having been the general manager of a major award-winning media organisation and responsible for all the commercial and cultural responsibilities that sort of leadership role entails, Linda also drove the Perth division’s successful commercialisation of the digital transformation sweeping the media industry.

Linda’s experience also encompasses the role of general manager of EventsCorp, the Western Australian Government’s major events agency where she oversaw both the attraction of major events to the State and the management of international events such as Rally Australia.

Linda’s unique background covers a range of industry sectors including media, tourism, events, advertising and marketing, public policy, planning and infrastructure. Her successful consulting business has delivered a range of bespoke services including developing destination marketing strategies and destination management guides; events strategies and planning; issues and crisis management; reputational risk advice; and communication strategies.

Linda’s skills have been extensively utilised in non-executive director roles including recently on the boards of Venues West, which manages the WA government’s major sporting venues worth some $2billion; and Tourism WA where she served on both the events and audit and risk committees.
