Mulgrave Country Club
Overview
ODIN360 was engaged by Mulgrave Country Club to develop a practical, long-term strategic plan to guide the Club through to 2035–2040. The work examined the Club’s sport, hospitality, events and gaming operations, member and market opportunities, facilities, financial resilience and organisational capability. Through evidence based analysis, stakeholder engagement, and facilitated Board workshops, ODIN360 developed a clear strategic framework to reinforce the Club’s sporting purpose, diversify revenue, grow membership and build capacity for future investment.
Key Deliverables

  • Assessed the Club’s current operating position across sport, hospitality, events, gaming, membership, marketing, facilities, people, systems and governance.
  • Analysed financial performance, revenue concentration and regulatory risk to inform a more resilient long-term business model.
  • Examined sporting participation, facility capacity and growth opportunities across sporting sections, including squash and racquetball, lawn bowls, tennis and social recreation.
  • Identified strategic opportunities to strengthen the Club’s sporting purpose, increase participation and demonstrate community benefit.
  • Developed six strategic pathways covering sport and recreation, non-gaming revenue, reputation, membership, capability and future horizons.
  • Prepared indicative initiatives, performance measures and KPI frameworks to support implementation, accountability and Board oversight
  • Provided a practical structure for translating the strategic framework into an operational plan, including actions, responsibilities and delivery timeframes.
