Deliver a future ready ticketing partnership
Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust
Overview
ODIN360 was engaged by Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust to provide independent, hands on support for the procurement and transition of its year round ticketing services agreement. The work supports Melbourne Park, Australia’s leading sports and entertainment precinct, through a structured process that places customer experience, venue hirer needs, commercial value and operational readiness at its centre. ODIN360’s role covers two connected phases: ticketing procurement and support for transition to the new ticketing arrangements.
Key Deliverables
  • Established project objectives, governance arrangements, milestones and reporting processes to support a structured ticketing procurement and transition program.
  • Led stakeholder consultation and requirements definition across Melbourne Park’s commercial, ticketing, marketing, digital, technology, operations, governance, procurement and legal functions.
  • Engaged venue hirers, tenant clubs, promoters and customer groups to ensure the future ticketing solution reflects operational, commercial and customer needs.
  • Prepared and coordinated core procurement materials, including business requirements, service specifications, evaluation criteria, service levels, performance measures, EOI and RFT documentation.
  • Supported the evaluation and recommendation process through panel coordination, assessment guidance, financial and capability analysis, tenderer clarification and negotiation preparation.
  • Coordinated contract schedules with legal and procurement teams, ensuring commercial, service and performance requirements were clearly reflected in the final agreement.
  • Provided transition oversight, including integrated planning, supplier and internal team coordination, milestone tracking, status reporting, risk management and assurance of delivery readiness.
  • Supported data migration, systems integration, training, hirer and tenant club engagement, customer communications and operational readiness for handover to business as usual operations.
Outcomes
  • Provided Melbourne Park with a clear and compliant pathway to procure its next ticketing services agreement.
  • Created a process that brings together customer, hirer, promoter, tenant club, operational and commercial requirements.
  • Supported strong governance, probity and decision making through structured documentation, evaluation guidance and executive reporting.
  • Established a transition approach designed to minimise operational risk and maintain continuity across Melbourne Park’s extensive events program.
  • Helped prepare Melbourne Park, venue hirers and tenant clubs for confident adoption of new ticketing arrangements.
