When it comes to the management, technical requirements and coordination of major international events or multi team sports and events, there are few people in Australia with more executive-level expertise than Brian.

Brian has worked in major events around the world for over 25 years, including as Deputy CEO for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and Executive General Manager, Event Experience & Operations at Cricket Australia
Through a broad range of roles, by adopting a hands-on approach, Brian has developed a diverse range of skills and experience resulting in a unique capability that transcends across all business areas.

As well as his strategic skills and knowledge, he has particular expertise in technology, operations and logistics. He has overseen the design and successful implementation of the incredibly complex Information and Technology systems used in 3 Commonwealth Games. He is also currently advising the Commonwealth Games Federation partnership in respect of the 2026 Victoria Commonwealth Games.

During the COVID pandemic, Brian provided centralised program management oversight and integration support to Cricket Australia across various streams of work necessary to help ensure the successful delivery of the 2020/21 cricket season which faced significant commercial risks.

Brian has expert consulting, project management and advisory skills for major infrastructure and events operations having also been responsible for the safe construction of multiple Formula One Grand Prix events at Albert Park and MotoGP events at Phillip Island on time and on budget.
