Overview
ODIN360 was engaged to conduct comprehensive research, market modeling, and strategic master planning for the potential redevelopment of visitor accommodation in Queenstown. The assignment included reviewing the site’s current state, analysing Queenstown’s dynamic accommodation and visitor market, benchmarking against leading regional precedents, and producing a visionary, actionable redevelopment framework.
This project integrated market data (from DQ, STR Global, AirDNA, Tourism NZ, Stats NZ), area site inspections, guest feedback analytics, stakeholder interviews, and comparative analysis of best practice in tourism accommodation. Strong emphasis was placed on aligning with Queenstown’s Regenerative Tourism Plan and emerging market trends towards wellness, environmental leadership, and high-contributing visitor segments.
